In Salento, the wine for the national holidays was produced by using the Malvasia Nera. However, in the last few years, this grape variety had lost its own importance, above all because it was used along with the Negroamaro to obtain the Salice Salentino DOP. The DieciAnni gets back the old tradition to vinificate the Malvasia Nera di Lecce without blending it with other grapes varieties. The fruit and the fragrance of the wine is exalted, above all because it is not aged in barrique. DieciAnni Malvasia Nera is an intense ruby-red wine with hints of dewberry, blood orange and violet in the nose. Fresh on the palate, with clues of cherry and blueberry.
