Many people consider the Negroamaro as the king of the Puglia wines, both for its quality and its wide diffusion worldwide. Despite the fact that in the past the negroamaro was sought for the high alcohol content and for its body, today the main words describing it are elegance and finesse. Terramare is an involving wine with a young taste: ruby-red colour, intense in the nose with its hints of cherry and blood orange. Full-bodied in the mouth with spiced and slightly roasted hints. The resulting wine is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels. ageing potential The wine is ready after one month from the bottling and has an interesting evolution in the subsequent 3/4 years. Serving temperature- food matchings 18°C – Orecchiette pasta with meat sauce; pasta with beans and sausage; barbecued bombette (small pork meat roulades stuffed with bacon and cheese).
