The grapes, carefully selected and hand-picked with a slightly late harvest, are fermented in 350-liter chestnut barrels. It is then refined in the same barrels for 9 months and in steel for a further 3 months. With a deep and brilliant golden yellow color, Galatea perfectly combines the aromas of Malvasia Puntinata and chestnut wood: peach, apple, honey intertwine with vanilla, caramel, cinnamon. A dry, elegant and soft taste, it leaves the mouth velvety. Pairings Fettuccine with white ragù, grilled lamb, cured meats and cheeses are among the suggested pairings.
